receive distant attunement and what after that

dear All,

I have received distant attunement from Groups forum via internet. The problem is I wasn't online when the attunement was given to me, I just knew it when some days later I was online. Via this forum I read that it doesn't a matter. But few months ago when I got attunement for gTummo Reiki I, the Master told us that attunement is only given personally, one by one not distant nor mass attunement.

However after getting distant attunement, how I should do to practise the energy. Doing self healing?
