Does anyone have experience of Tummo aka Kundalini Reiki? I agree with the general view that it's better not to worry about the endless new variations of reiki so is Tummo just another reiki flavour or is it something different? I read somewhere that Tummo uses kundalini energy instead of reiki energy and this makes it something quite different and not just another reiki flavour .

thanx

Charles,

Oh no not another reiki flavour ? :) i will check it out and let you know, btw kundalini energy should only be moved by masters or higher beings not us humans.

Mick

I am also interested in tummo.  I am a reiki master in the Usui tradition and another master friend has recently shared incredible results with tummo attunements he has received.

Mick, I'm not sure what you mean by this cos kundalini is quite widely used by humans in some Hindu schools, for example some types of yoga. It is though often said that one should  exercise caution eg by seeking the help of a qualified teacher.

Does anyone know where one might go/who one might ask for free attunement to Tummo II+? From what I've heard, it alleviates problems with the dreaded "Kundalini Syndrome" (more info @ http://www.elcollie.com/st/symptoms.html) and allows the Kundalini energy to flow more freely.

Thanks in advance! ;D

Hello :)

As usual, my advice on avoiding Kundalini syndrome is to work under the guidance of a qualified guru or yogi. If you must approach Kundalini on your own, be sure that you are ready to surrender your ego to her and live in accordance with her and your Kundalini syndrome will be almost non-existant.

As far as Tummo Reiki is concerned, I don't know where the attunements are free, but I do know that Innersun Reiki (which is taught for free) was developed by a lady who was initiated into gtummo fire by the same teacher as the man who developed Tummo Reiki, so that might be a valid option for you.

If you're interested in controlled Kundalini rise in methods outside of Reiki, there are many sites on the internet that will help. There is a free online course in Yogi Bhajan's Kundalini Yoga on the internet, Nirmala Devi (Sahaja Yoga) offers shaktipat on the internet, there are tons of listings of live Siddha Yoga workshops on the internet, and Mystress Angelique (Fire Serpent Tantra) offers internet shaktipat with a wealth of information on preparing for the experience and then living with Kundalini.

Om Shanti Shanti Shanti,
B.
