That was lovely, when I close my eyes I still see it but it is purple not green. Does anyone know what that may mean.

It's only purple sometimes....so I think somehow it depends on us or what state we're in at the time

Hi Kathy!

Changing colours is normal. After closing eyes are visible so-called complementary colors. For green color it is purple, for blue -yellow, for red - light blue.

I have been told that both green and purple are healing colours so I guess you can take it as you are healing

That is amazing! Both times I've done it I've experienced visions of swirling capsules of light being dispersed over my being and then all warm and cozy!

Hi Kathy. Dewdrop is right. If you stare at bright colors like in the reservoir for a bit and then close your eyes, you will see the opposite color of the spectrum. That's strictly a physiological response of the receptors in the eye. During my first year in college (art college) we did exercises to experience that phenomena. It helped us develop a better idea of how colors interact with one another and how neighboring colors can change the overall appearance of the colors. It was cool.

WOW! Thats the colours I see every time I meditate and in pulsating circles forward and back.

I got the feeling that I've seen this before, but don't know where. Maybe when I meditate!
