Members of this forum are glad to send reiki and to help. But there are few things that we would really love to know *after* you posted a request:
- how are you doing after receiving reiki treatment?
- has your current state improved or not?
- do you have any questions regarding distant healing?
- what are your experiences with reiki healing so far?
Please, keep us posted and updated about your progress or/and about the lack of it.
Permission
This is one of the most difficult aspects for novice healers to accept, however it is very important to consider the spiritual, and ethical implications if you decide to send someone healing without first gaining their express permission.
Firstly at a practical level, it is very helpful if the person participates in their own healing process. It can be very disempowering to be told later that you were sent healing, it could be considered invasive, however well intentioned your motives are, secondly every being has the right to keep their illness or imbalance.
On a practical note, it is usually considered acceptable under Universal Law for permission to be granted by the parent or guardian on behalf of a child, the owner of a pet, and in the case of someone in a coma or other serious illness by the next of kin. If you are looking after a person with a serious or long term illness it would be a good idea if you asked for healing for yourself to help you cope with looking after a loved one
