A very dear friend of mine asked me to make some enchanted talisman bags for her clients and so a couple of weeks ago, I went to my gem store

 (aside to Jenn- I finally found where it had moved to...a block away from the one we went to)

and I spent a long time gathering the protective gems that I felt should go into these little bags...
well the first stone I was drawn to was ....Turquoise...
 Val...thanks for the info on turquoise...I guess my intuition was right on....

So far I have purchased
Moonstones
Garnets
Peridot
TigersEye
and the Turquoise

I feel I am not quite done gathering yet...



I am drying someĀ  grounding and protective plants that I grow and will put them into the bags...
Mint
Valarien
Tree Peoney

And...I have been getting protective symbols in meditations and drawing them onto some special stones... with gold or silver pens.......

That sounds so lovely, I'm jealous that you can just pop into your local gem store ... lol

I like the idea of drawing symbols on the stones, makes them very unique indeed
