Problems with attunement scheduling

I'm scheduled for a distant attunement but I already know that when the time comes I'm going to be busy at work and won't have time to participate.

If I were not to mention this problem to the person doing the attunement, if I were to wait until later that night to receive the attunement, would I still receive it? I think so, but I wanted to get some opinions.

I know that a sender can send to the past, present, or future, but in this case the sender doesn't know that I intend to receive it many hours after they send it.

Will that be a problem?

Well, it is my experience reiki will find its way to you.

Reiki is energy and like every other energy it follows intent.
Intent at distant attunement is (or should be) to attune someone far away, so that is it.

From my experiences, reiki always fiinds its way to a sincere receiver.

i agree with nitya. my advice is, when the time you scheduled for the attunement comes, be prepared for it. i hope you work in a cubicle or some place quiet where you won't get odd looks if youa re sitting still  

eihter that, or just keep trying to contact your master
