Life Has Taken a New Turn Question

Friends -

About a month ago, I gave my best friend since childhoold her first attunement.  During the ceremony she felt very strong energy but afterwards when trying to heal herself, she felt nothing....and has not felt anything since.

Her life, however, has changed very much for the good and she now has a positive self-image and has taken a giant step with her future.  In fact, she has been so busy with her new direction, she has not had time to do her self-healings.

A few days before I attuned my friend, we went to an energy prayer group and she put her name in the prayer circle.

Since her life has changed so dramatically, my friend feels that it was the energy healing in group that
turned her around - I thought maybe it could be that combined with the attunement (even though she still cannot feel anyting).  

Your thoughts please.

Hi Angel,  in my humble opinion:
It may be easier for your friend to let others (like the prayer circle) have the responsibility for her life changing.  Sometimes people feel safer if the responsibility belongs to someone/something else.
In a way this is like a saftey net in case things go wrong then there's someone else to blame.  


 The Reiki symbols will remain in her aura and if she wants to do the work (like meditating, self healing....)  they are there for her to access.

Hi Angel,

It is very important that your friend does self healing on herself daily, the more she uses reiki on herself and others she will feel the energy a lot stronger, groups of people sending healing is of course a lot more powerful, but people can't dump their health issues on other people.

Angel:  In other areas, I have been trained to perform the action; let go of the result.  It may be difficult to prove which event is responsible for her life change but either way you helped your friend.

It is something to ponder on, but I think Willy makes a really good point. You did your part in giving the attunement, now whatever direction it is taken is up to your friend.

It may well be reiki influencing her new found changes, but I have to think that even if it were occuring to me, how would I be sure?

Hmmmmmmm, when I first read this I decided to ponder it for a while.

I agree with previous posts.  You have done your part by giving the attunement.  It is now up to her whether she decides to believe in herself or put it on others to make her life good.

I must say attunement is a very hard physical thing to do and "one" must be ready with every fibre of their being to truely believe in it and themselves.

Give her time to make her choices, that's what I say.
