Hi,

I just had the pleasure of being able to share some Reiki with a rabbit.  This little one has just been fixed a few days ago and is not yet back to normal.

When I first held her, she was just vibrating!  Very nervous and not at all relaxed.  After the Reiki started I could feel her muscles begin to settle one by one, and soon the vibration had stopped as well.  She became very still and wasn't moving at all. She was so quiet, I found myself checking to see if she was still breathing!  :o LOL!!  She drew the energy in for about 15 - 20 minutes then let me know by "waking up" and fidgeting that she was done.

In the few random experiences I've had with a variety of animals, I am finding it is true what is normally said about Reiki and animals.  That is the duration of a session is much shorter, they draw it in with less resistence, and easily let you know in their own way when they are done.

With light and love,
Featherpoint

wow FP, just wow!  :D ;D :-* :-*

Last night when the cat was stuck in next door neighbour's tree (see other post on this board), I was inside and sent him Reiki to try and calm him and get him to climb down the tree.
He had been crying for hours, I later found out that he was only a (very large and fluffy) baby, so I just wanted to calm him and get him to climb down branch by branch. I didn't get him to come down, but when I sent him Reiki, I had the back door open (it was quite cold and it was raining quite hard, but I could still hear him). But he would stop crying and I heard nothing. Then I would get worried, go out and call him and he would start crying again.

Once he got Reiki again he stopped crying, but still didn't come down.

So although I didn't achieve the rescuing part, I think I managed to help him cope being stuck up there. Luckily his owners came hunting at 10pm and got him down, I was soooo worried about the poor thing.

In my heart I know he heard me and heard me talking to him. You are an inspiration, FP, all your other posts on talking to animals have really quite inspired me, and you know about my little 'chats' with Prim. Before reading the posts on this forum I had never tried to talk to my or other animals.  :D

Lots of love from Georgia xx  :-* :-*

Now this does put a smile on my face!  :D It is such a neat thing to do.  Keep working with it and post your experiences if you are comfortable sharing.  I'd love to hear them.   ;D

Love,

I talk to my dog (Emmy) and she understands everything I say ;D

She can also read ... as soon as a packet of her favourite biccies is out (rich tea) she is there smiling and hoping ;D

When we move up to Victoria I have to leave her here as the airlines won't take animals in cargo until mid October (cos of the heat)  I'll explain it all and I hope she does understand that I do love her and it'll break my heart to leave her and I'll be sooooooo happy to see her again in October ;)

Ah whilst I'm on the subject of Emmy, I have to get her used to a crate for the flight ... I've got it in the room with the door off ... a lovely little blankie in there to make it all comfy but apart from going in to gather up treats that I put in there (which she gets and retreats quickly to her favourite rug to eat) she won't go near the thing and is frightened of it.

Any advice would be appreciated for my baby girl ;)
