I work on a computer 8 hours a day - what should I use for EMF protection?

This is really concerning me as I think that using a computer so much could be really interfering with my vibration and making me unwell/run down/stressed. Or at the least, it's contributing. I've had fatigue on and off, but usually more on than off, for many years now. Cleansing, candida diets etc all work in the short term and for a while, but I am wondering if my computer usage is putting me in a position to be more susceptible to everything. So I'm curious about how I could use crystals to protect myself from the electromagnetic emissions that I'm no doubt being exposed to. Using a computer is my job so I don't really have a choice.

So which crystals would be best and how should I use them?

  Hi, Plants are a wonderful way to balance your computer area. The Peace Lilly is a great one to have next to the desk or on the table depending on the size. The Philodendron is also effective as is Jade. Pick some good plants that also inspire you or that you enjoy having near the computer.  Good old regular rocks can work well with the plants. Get one out of the yard and put it under your screen, If you like.  Talk to them, ground them, give them reiki if they want it.  You should find that the plants will balance the electromagnetic field in the area.

Ohhh, excellent - thank you! I've been putting my clear quartz between me and the computer, and cleansing it when I think it needs cleansed. I had been wondering about pyrite as well. And the plants, what a wonderful idea. Lately when I go to the garden section of the shop down the street from me I feel so energised and amazing being around the plants... and that's just in a shop! I do need to get some plants... what are some other good 'house plants'? Thought I might get an aloe vera plant, then I can even use the inner gel sometimes...

Use your intuition.  Plants that seem grounded verses airy are a good choice in general.  Every situation can be different though.  Feel it out !  Enjoy !

Cool! I'm having a strong urge to get an aloe vera plant for my room actually, I hear you're not supposed to put plants in your room according to feng shui because of too much chi - but I think the energies of this plant are just right for the vibrations I want in my room...

Saw some cacti today at the plant shop and they were affecting my third eye. Which is interesting. I found that somebody's mesclun cactus had the same effect on me once - and no I didn't ingest any of it, I just put my head near it. Really! Must look into any metaphysical associations of cacti... maybe the prickles will fight off the computer radiation, haha.

Cool, thank you! Is it enough to just put ONE crystal near the computer or should there be more?

btw, I put a clear quartz on my laptop last year and I'm pretty sure that's what blew the powerboard, because it happened soon after.

Very good chance your quartz contributed to that problem...lol

You can use just one or as many as you like.  I have two large rose quartz now on either side of my monitor at work now, alto they are far above the tower..lol

Black Tourmaline
Malachite

Cleanse them periodically by holding them under cold, running water for several minutes or placing them in direct morning sunlight for several hours.
