Cloudy citirine cleared up

I found the citrine that I keep in my purse and noticed that it looked dull and cloudy. So I placed it on the amethyst that I charged, and now the citrine has cleared up! That's cool, but I thought that citrine didn't absorb energies and never needed to be cleansed or anything?

I've heard that citirine is immune to negative energies, but I don't believe it.  All gemstones are made up of the same molecules and the rest of the universe, only in different arrangements, so negativity, in my opinion, can creep in just about anywhere!

That's why we cleans as well as heal!

Hi, Landy here,

I use crystals with reiki and one of my favourites is citrine. I was told that citrine never needs to be cleansed but does need to be charged up like all crystals. I have this beautiful citrine necklace I brought at a Mind Body and Spirit weekend, it has about 8 large citrines separated by small gold beads. My husband says they look like teeth! But that is the normal shape of them. It is lovely though and makes me feel happy. It is good for so many reasons that everyone should have one! Sorry! I didn't mean to run on!  I only wanted to tell you that it doesn't need to be cleansed!

Cloudy Citrine likes to sit on the windowsill and 'sunbathe'
I always think Citrine brings Sunshine to whatever it is being used for.
