This House Is On Fire

Suryakant

Biography of Shri Dhyanyogi Madhusudandasji, my beloved Guruji. Toward the end of the book, there is a section where various disciples tell stories of their personal experiences involving Guruji. You'll find a story that begins in the last paragraph at the bottom of page 391, about a student from Boston named John. That's me. When I received my copy of "This House Is On Fire" in the mail, I was surprised to find my story on page 391. Later, I learned that my story was chosen for inclusion in Guruji's biography because it seemed to fit so well with Guruji's own statement during his physical lifetime which is quoted on page 311: "I am out to search for my lost stars." When it began to sink in that Guruji had apparently allowed my little story to be included in his published biography, I felt overwhelmed by his love.
