Heal the Gulf

I'm requesting assistance in sending healing energy to the Gulf of Mexico. I've been sending reiki to the waters, the wildlife and the people where I can through out the day. Everyone in the area needs all the love and support that they can get. The atmosphere in the gulf is very tense right now, people know that this disaster is off our shores and everyone feels helpless. Please, help in sending healing energy to the earth and well as to the spirits of everyone that makes their home here. There has been an outpouring of volunteers and positive thinking from people who are no strangers to disaster, which I'm finding empowering and hopeful. As thousands and thousands of gallons of oil pour into the waters, I'm hoping that an abundance on reiki energy will help the healing move along faster. Namaste.

One thing someone did a while back during another natural catastrophe (i can't even remember which one at this point, there have been so many) was to send it at 7am and 7pm in your time zone.

That way there would be a burst of healing from many places during the day. Perhaps that's a good way to do it.

I've also read of a daily meditation that has been called for at noon every day.

I've been looking around for a Worldwide Healing that is scheduled, but haven't had much luck tracking anything down. But we all must do what we can individually to help. As we think forward that it "can be fixed", we will receive ideas from our higher consciousnesses as to how to stop this gusher.

So many of us are very concerned, wondering how to go about sending healing into the Gulf and its inhabitants. A spiritual teacher of mine named Chris offers a blog site on which he posts meditation sessions where you follow the instructions in an effort to send healing to groups, such as to the Haiti situation, or consciousness in our planet, etc.

Chris and I were conversing about our concerns for the Gulf and its situation following the oil spill, and I asked him for guidance regarding how to sending healing to the region. However he responded by challenging me to be the one to address this issue, and he asked that I write a meditation to assist those in his group to send healing. I did struggle with it but ultimately decided to use the energy healing I do each day for people and situations for that meditation.
