Hello everyone:
Ok- I've practrised and followed your advice and that  has paid off, as I am starting to feel the energy , it is  still subtle but definitely can be felt,   - there is a tingling sensation in my palms and my hands  are getting warmer .. I am so pleased!!   :)  .  Also , I have finally located a new Reiki teacher who just moved to the area and I plan to have a reiki treatment with her, -- which I never had before-.  I hope she’ll be better than the teacher who attuned me to level 1.    The next step would be  to get level  2 attunement.
Thanks everyone for your input and patience.. but I guess ,  those who have more knowledge need to help the neophyte. (like me)..

remember, we are all already proficient at reiki because energy is who and what we are, not something we "use". The relationship is much deeper.
So it's not like building a puzzle, it's more like an already completed puzzle, with black stickers on every piece. Just scrap the puzzle free one sticker at the time and remember your powers :)

I suggest you join another reliable Reiki Master/Teacher whatever it takes. it is nonsense to keep with the current Master. Attunement from the first time should be effective from your Mater and not from yours.

A person may learn the techniques from anywhere.  A teacher/master must attune you to the Reiki energy so you may be a channel for the energy.

you should try your best to be attuned by a reliable Reiki master/teacher. Do whatever it takes. You can join some group here or their and go from city to another. This should not be a great deal. However, picking the right Master/teacher is the hard job.
