Reiki in infections and Cancer

Dear Friends and Healers,
I'm an oncologist by profession and have discovered Reiki and have learnt till level 4.
Can anyone tell me if they know of specialist techniques of treating cancer? I plan to do cancer healing with Reiki as well as conventional chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Any pitfalls? any precautions? Special symbols? I'd be heartily grateful.
Other query was whenever I give self healing during cough/ cold/ abdominal upset i think it not only it doesnot help but my cough etc gets worse? any contra-indications to Reiki in bacterial/ viral infections? My teacher doesnot thinks so.

Also, and this is just my opinion, I'd go with starting the energy up with CKR and I'd use a LOT of SHK to help the patient with the emotional ups and downs of the treatments.  The realisation that the reiki will relax them and kick start their body with the healing of itself (in addition to conventional medicines) will be enough. 

On a personal patient note, the mere fact that a person is given a treatment that involves no needles or pain whatsoever which actually makes them feel good is going to boost whatever treatment they are on no end.

This is just my personal opinion on this matter and those more knowledgeable will also post with their thoughts.

Regarding your cough, isn't it the case sometimes that you need to get worse to get better?  I know sometimes after a treatment someone I've worked on may feel pain moreso for a short while but eventually heals much faster.  Maybe the reiki is working in that it makes your condition feel slightly worse before the healing kicks in and clears up the condition quicker than if left alone.

I hope I'm making sense (it sounds good from where I'm sitting anyway )  So, nope, I've not heard of any contra whatsits in regard to infections

Dear Dr. Kumar,
I had ductal carcinoma and went thru 2 surgeries on my right breast.  I also went on Radiation Therapy.  I was only out from work for 2 days after the surgery.  I worked fulltime during the radiation therapy.  Everyone noticed how I was taking everything so well.  At first, I told everyone that so many people were praying for me and sending me their love. I told them I feel the energy sorrounding me at all times and did not feel sick at all.  I am also a reiki practitioner and do self healing.  Believe it or not.  Energy works and if you are a believer, you will feel it....

Something I have been reading a lot recently is the use of hydrogen peroxide, diluted down, and used intravenously. The web sites keep saying that it is effective against both infections and cancer, as the extra oxygen does not agree with them. The important thing so far as i'm concerned, is the claim to be getting results even if the explanation does not completely make sense to me.

  Hello,  there is a Shamballa anti-cancer symbol by Loril Moondream. The symbol is drawn into the body, or, above the body & pushed into it. It is supposed to heal those kind of growths, & helps growth of normal cells.  I wish I knew how to apply the drawing of it and post it here for you. It is in a book I have called, "Magick of Reiki" by Christopher Penczak.  Also, if you reverse the CKR, it is suppose to "pull" out bad energies, at least that is what I have been guided to do in the past.  Which brings me to say that maybe just use your "intention"/intuitive side of yourself.  Those are invaluable "tools".   I see/feel,  muddy, coffee ground areas, and cantell that would be a worrisome area, such as cells gone amuck!  I use visualization, and picture them becoming normal, or, being pulled out of the body.  Intention is so important.    But,  REIKI knows best, and will go where it is most needed.

This is what u shud do before u treat urself when u have some infection or anything else.

Do a good grounding meditation. This is most important and i cannot stress how important it is for you to do this to be effective. Also when u give urself Reiki do it for at least 15-20 mins and after that do a grounding again. No special symbols. You are a doctor and u know that what organsare affected due to what disease so for cough u need to give reiki to ur throat and lungs and so on.

Secondly i do not use symbols but if u do then use the Sei Hei Ki to heal. Intent for Sei Hei Ki energy to flow and open blocks. I know most Usui practioners might disagree with me since Cho Ku Rei is the symbol of choice for healing but give it a shot and see the difference. Sei Kei Ki is good for blockages. Similarily for Cancer also you need to fill the area with Reiki so that the energy imbalance that caused it in the first place can be healed. I suggest that u do some reading on accupuncture and familiarise urself with the energy points and meridians and then apply reiki to it. Even as a general doctor u will find urself curig diseases u never thot were possible to cure and with simple ease.
