Hello members....
I am alley...
I am an artist...
I majored in etching and drawing at school but have explored many different media, from making clay dragons to tiling tables....

For the last few years I have been focusing on oil painting and I spend 5 to 8 hours a day painting...

I have lived with and loved a wonderful musican for 27 years and we have three amazing children..

I also love to garden and work in my garden whenever I can...

I have been teaching art at a lovely montessori elementery school for 14 years. 

Most years I teach approximately 60 students from the ages of 5 to 13 years old.

I started teaching when my eldest child was a student at this school...she is now a young adult in collage and I am still in elementary school...LOL...

I love my job and my students.

I suffered a very unexpected loss/death ( my brother) in 2001. 
A few months later I was diagnoised with a chronic disease.
A dear friend of mine was a newly attuned Reiki master, so she gave me my first level to help me deal with my illness and my on-going grief.

She gave me my second level of reiki about 8 months later.

I found SRI in late 2003. I loved the feel and the attitude of this forum.  I started posting alot.
One day I had an idea for an intuition game, I suggested it to Nitya (our great but busy leader) and he said that the game would be fun but I should become a mod so that I could "run it"...


I was attuned to master in 2003. 
I started to explore yoga and other aspects of energy work.
I was taught a technique called Theta healing and later was attuned to a technique called Pellowah. 

I have been attuned to and have practiced kundalini reiki for a year or so..

In Jan 2005 I was invited to become an admin.

I have really enjoyed the opportunity to work on SRI...
the goals of offering free reiki and free atunements and free learning and free thinking are all really important to me.....
