Hello!

Hmmm. Where to start?  I currently reside in a beautiful area in Manitoba (Canada) very close to a gorgeous National Park.  It is truely God's country here!

As a child, I was raised Catholic, attending the church and Catholic schools and I enjoyed the social aspect of it when I was younger but as I grew and started hearing what I was being told I began to question a great many things about it.  It didn't sit with me well that I was supposed to fear God, that he was constantly judging me.  So I started on a different journey.

I have always had an interest in all things metaphysical and have had more rock collections than I could ever count!  I am a music fanatic and recently joined my first rock band.

After a rather rough period I found myself searching for something, anything to believe in.  I started researching Wicca and Paganism which I was drawn to due to their nature aspects.  I found SRI (or has been said here before, SRI found me  ) and a 'home'.  I love the site and the people who have helped me immeasurably since I started on my own reiki path.  I achieved my master/teacher in Usui and have my booster attunements left for Kundalini Reiki.  Early this year I also became a "Certifiable" Crystal Therapist and began distant Crystal Healing sessions too 
Currently my area if interest has evolved to include Chakras due to their extreme importance with healing modalities and how they affect us and vice versa.

I am so thrilled to have been asked to come on board as a moderator here.  My cheeks are still sore from the big, goofy grin on my face ever since! 
I am proud to be here, proud to know all of you and extremely grateful for the home that I have found here at SRI where I can laugh, cry, vent, rant, or ramble free from criticism and judgment and embraced with love and warmth.
