Hi friends !
I’m honored to accept this position as a moderator in such a wonderful good-hearted group. I truly think the people here are special and have great amounts to bring to the table and make offerings. You all are also willing and able to learn. That is a special thing- especially in a cyber group. It is like a little family. That is the main reason I participate.
As for me, I’m 37yo, live in Colorado, USA, single at the moment, work as a care provider and a psychic/spiritual healer. Although I am a natural healer, I have officially been involved in the healing arts for 16years. I was first attuned to Usui Reiki in 1995. My neighbor was a Reiki Master. We were spiritual buddies and she offered to attune me. Since, I have several level one attunements and almost 9 –12 months ago I was attuned to level two. My training includes counseling, Hospice work, Minister, Reiki, Usui and others, Channeling, laying of hands, Touching in on Shamanism, Tai Chi, and various other modalities (as we modern whites would say ;} ) It is all really various ways of manifesting spirit in the physical and learning about our spiritual nature as beings in bodies.
For me, Reiki was the first bridge between my Spiritual Reality and the physical manifestation of that reality. It was like having the right connections and help that I could finally get my book published; so to speak. My first break in to the BIG TIME !!
Reiki has been a wonderful tool that has allowed me to utilize my healing abilities, provide a framework for healing that people can relate to, grasp and utilize themselves. It also gives people an experience of energy or spirit that they are able use as “proof” that the spiritual aspects of life are as real as any material object.

Graceful Awakenings is a spiritual oasis where a soul can discover itself and its truth. Graceful Awakenings is dedicated to spiritual awakening, communication, healing and freedom since 1999.
It has been and will continue to be my goal to support You All and Myself in the process of self-discovery.
You might have guessed that I love people. You might not know that I love animals, plants, crafts, cooking, travel, family and most of the beach. I hope to be there again someday when the time is right. I do dabble in gardening, making potions, herbs, origami, power objects, yogurt and Kefir. The funny thing is that what was called a potion many years ago, we use everyday now days. Things like soap or mouth wash !
Currently, I am fascinated by the StoryCorps project. Their mission is to honor and celebrate one another’s lives through listening. They have booths around the states and two (or three) people who love each other go in and their stories are facilitated and recorded then stored in the Library of Congress.
I want to be apart of the project some how. I am in the process of figuring out how, to what degree and when right now. It excites me !
